Rabbi Judy received her Rabbinic ordination in 2014 from the Jewish Spiritual Leaders Institute in New York, NY.
Rabbi Judy is available to create meaningful, personal and spiritual life cycle events and creative worship experiences tailored just for you.
Rabbi Judy loves to teach others about Judaism. She is inclusive and welcoming and offers Introduction to Judaism classes each year for those who are curious or those who wish to become Jews.

Specializing in weddings, healing services, pastoral care, funerals and unveilings, Rabbi Judy is available to travel anywhere for your life cycle event or host it online.
Rabbi Judy is perhaps best known for her music and work as a cantorial soloist and professional singer for over 30 years. She has produced a number of award-winning recordings of Jewish music for families and was commissioned by the URJ (Union for Reform Judaism) to write a preschool music curriculum titled My Jewish World. She has sung and conducted Jewish worship services all over the world. Of course, her beautiful, uplifting voice can be a part of everything she does. After many years of study, Judy received her Rabbinic ordination in 2014. She specializes in creating and conducting life cycle events that are personal, meaningful and spiritual. She is available to conduct worship services, Bar/Bat Mitzvah training and services, weddings (including interfaith, multi-cultural and LGBTQ+ marriages), baby namings, funerals, unveilings, and conversion study and ceremonies.
Pastoral care is a large part of Rabbi Judy's work as she visits the sick and comforts family members. She is a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator helping couples make the most of their dating, engagements and marriages. She loves to teach and serves as a faculty member for JSLI (Jewish Spiritual Leaders Institute) teaching classes on Jewish views on abortion, adoption and infertility and is a member of the Union of Jewish Universalist Communities (UJUC). Rabbi Judy is also listed as an "Expert" on the new Jewish website My Personal Judaism.
Rabbi Judy currently serves Congregation B'nai Israel in Monroe, LA as their part-time Rabbi. Although Rabbi Judy lives in Louisiana, she is available to travel anywhere or work with you online to meet your needs. She has conducted Shabbat services in Mumbai, Kolkata and Sri Lanka, Havdalah in Jerusalem and officiated at destination weddings in Mexico, New Orleans, Houston, Indiana, California and Florida.
